Lucius Smith, Jr.

Mr. Lucius Smith, Jr. was born August 7, 1950 in Macon, Georgia to the late Mr. Lucius Smith, Sr. and the late Mrs. Jacqueline G. Smith.

He was educated in the Bibb County School System. After graduating, Lucius moved to New York for work, where he met and married Maggie.

After living in Texas for many years Lucius eventually moved back to Georgia, where it all started with his family.

On Friday, April 19, 2024, Lucius departed this earthly life. He was preceded in death by his father, mother; wife, Maggie Smith and two sisters, Elizabeth Martin and Addie Womack.

He leaves to cherish his memories his two daughters, Angela Fitchett and Lashebaa Smith; two sons, Alex Strong (Angela) and Lucius Smith III; five sisters, Shirlie Smith, Cynthia Simmons, Judy Atkins, Sylvia Williams (Walter) and Gladys McCoy; two brothers, William Smith and Charles Smith (Rochelle) of Baltimore, Maryland; two devoted friends, Renee Primus and Roland Stroud and a host of other grandchildren, family and friends.
